New Hayward LIVE! art, music and entertainment showcases return to downtown Hayward Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings—and this weekend with a special giveaway of Hayward LIVE! pint glasses at eight participating restaurants.
Hayward LIVE! is a new City of Hayward Economic Development Division initiative that last weekend brought 10 musical groups and individual performers, including a high school band, six artists and 20 vendors to B Street between Mission and Foothill boulevards.
Activities included an interactive community mural wall at Newman Park where attendees from Hayward and beyond enjoyed adding their individual artwork to the larger work.
During Hayward LIVE! from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, customers making one of these qualifying purchases at these eight restaurants will receive a Hayward LIVE! pint glass while supplies last:
· Hayward City Pho—buy a Thai Iced Tea
· Erik’s Deli—buy a combo meal
· Casa del Toro—buy a draft beer or other bar beverage
· Metro Taquero—buy a draft beer
· The Cupcake Shoppe—buy a milkshake
· Sapporo—buy a cold sake
· The Bistro—buy a pint of beer
· Aqua e Farina—just mention Hayward LIVE!
