The 38th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration—Saturday, April 29

The music, dance and cultural extravaganza and party that is the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration in downtown Hayward returns Saturday, April 29, to the intersection of B and Main Streets.


The fun starts at 10 a.m. with musical and dance performances by Mariachi Mexicanísimo and Aztecas with Ollín Anahuac on the Zaragoza and Benito Juárez stages, respectively, followed by a series of live performances, including Blanca Sandoval, all afternoon long.


The free, family-friendly event is hosted by La Alianza de Hayward and made possible by title sponsor One Subaru of Hayward with the support of the City of Hayward, Hayward Chamber of Commerce, Kaiser Permanente, East Bay Community Energy, and an array of other businesses, community organizations and community leaders.


In addition, there will be car and bicycle and pedal car shows, arts and crafts, food and beverage vendors and much, much more. Registration for the car show is $30 and to join the bicycle and pedal cars display is $10.
