Read, renew, and repeat this summer with the Summer Reading Challenge! From June 10 through August 3, read, learn, have fun, and earn prizes in three simple steps:

  1. Sign up at the library or atΒ hayward.beanstack.com.
  2. Read or listen to your favorite books, magazines, comics, and more. Younger children may be read to by a family member.
  3. Report your reading and activities to win prizes!

Free lunch and storytime for kids! All kids under 18 are welcome to participate. Lunch and reading activities are free.
