Ordinance making it unlawful to attend sideshows headed to Council for final action

The Hayward City Council is scheduled to take up and give final approval tonight to an ordinance making it unlawful to be a spectator at motor vehicle sideshows in the City.

Annual Hayward Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration event returns Jan. 15

The Hayward South Alameda County NAACP, in partnership with the City of Hayward, will hold a public reception this Thursday evening, Dec. 14, in honor of recently appointed Chabot College President Dr. Jamal Cooks and recently appointed Hayward Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Jason Reimann.
