MPX, the viral infection formally referred to as Monkey Pox, will be the subject of an online public town hall meeting hosted the Alameda County Health Services Agency and Department of Public Health taking place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, Aug. 25.

Alameda County public health authorities holding an online public town hall on MPX

MPX, the viral infection formally referred to as Monkey Pox, will be the subject of an online public town hall meeting hosted by the Alameda County Health Services Agency and Department of Public Health taking place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, Aug. 25.


The County Health Services Agency and Public Health Department partnered with the Hayward Fire Department during the City’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and are leading the effort in Alameda County to raise awareness and understanding of MPX.
