The Hayward City Council and Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) Board of Directors will hold a joint public meeting and workshop to discuss the future of parks in the City of Hayward.
The meeting is an opportunity for community members to provide feedback on Hayward parks and hear from elected City and HARD officials on goals and opportunities for interagency collaboration, activities, and improvements.
The meeting is being held in a hybrid format at Hayward City Hall, 777 B Street, Hayward, in Conference Room 2A from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, with the opportunity for community members to attend in person or online via Zoom.
Written comments can be submitted in advance by email to CityClerk@hayward-ca.gov, ideally by 3 p.m. Monday so they can be compiled and shared with City Council and HARD Board members prior to the start of the meeting.
For more on how to provide feedback and attend—including a link and telephone number for joining on Zoom—visit the City Council-HARD Board joint meeting and work session event page here on the City of Hayward website. The Zoom link and telephone will be posted this Friday, April 21.
