Upcoming Hesperian Boulevard closure this weekend 

Southbound Hesperian Boulevard will be closed from A Street to Winton Avenue to complete sewer repairs starting at about 11 p.m. Friday, July 19, and reopening by about 6 a.m. Monday, July 22, at 6 a.m. 

Additional daytime lane closures will be required on Monday, July 22, but these will occur outside the period of peak travel. 

Southbound drivers planning to travel through the area are advised to use I-880 during the closure period. Southbound access to and from businesses along Hesperian Boulevard will be limited via Skywest Drive. 

Residents seeking to access the adjacent Longwood neighborhood should use local streets connecting to A Street and Winton Avenue. 

Traffic on northbound Hesperian Boulevard will be unaffected through the duration of the project. 

Additional announcements will be forthcoming if the closure period needs to be extended.
