We regret to inform you that the Public Meeting of the Russell City Reparative Justice Project, initially slated for Sept. 27, 2023, on Zoom, has been canceled.

The Steering Committee has received over 350 responses to our survey. We would like to engage in a dedicated working session to plan our next steps based on this tremendous response.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your participation in our recent survey efforts for former residents and descendants of Russell City. The feedback we've collected is extensive and profound. It requires careful analysis to help us form clear and impactful recommendations for the city of Hayward.

Please accept our apologies for this change in scheduling. We will soon provide updates on subsequent meetings and opportunities for community engagement.
