Russell City Reparative Justice Project

Voting for the steering committee membership is still open! The candidate speeches were a great display of the passion you all have for Russell City. If you missed the meeting, you can watch the speeches on the ballot before you vote. You can also find candidate responses to community questions on our website here. 

The voting period will last for a total of seven calendar days, closing at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022. 

If you have questions for the candidates, you can ask them using the form linked in the ballot or by copying and pasting this link, https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RCRJP-Candidate-Questions, into your browser. Below is a timeline for questions: 

  • Questions can be submitted until 11:59 p.m. tonight, Oct. 24.

  • Candidates will be given until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 to respond.

  • Responses will be posted to the project site on Thursday, Oct. 27

Election results will be emailed to the community on Saturday, Oct. 29.

NOTE: Only individuals who are registered to the project at the time of the ballot release are eligible to vote. If you are receiving this message, you are eligible to vote.
