Steering Committee Nominees,

We have extended the deadline to complete the nominee survey. Please ensure you've completed your nominee survey by 11:59 p.m. tonight, Monday, Oct. 17. Later this week, our team will publish all nominees' answers, so participants can review them during the voting period.

Nominees will also be given the opportunity to speak for two minutes about their qualifications at the next community Zoom meeting this Thursday, Oct. 20. The voting period will begin on Friday, Oct. 21.

As a reminder, if you are elected, you will be expected to attend monthly meetings during the current phase (II) of the project. These meetings will be approximately 2-3 hours long. You will also be expected to communicate with other community members outside of the monthly meetings, which could account for another 3-5 hours per week. In the next phase (III) of the project, the Steering Committee will set its own meeting schedule and due to the nature of the work that needs to be completed, the number of hours working outside of the meetings may increase to 5-7 hours per week.
