Good Afternoon,
We had 55 responses to the nominations survey, yielding a total of 38 nominees. Nominees have been sent a request to accept or decline the nomination. If they accept the nomination, they will need to complete a brief survey that includes the questions that you developed during the last community meeting. As a reminder, those questions are:
- Who are you? Describe your background and your qualifications.
- We’re anticipating that this could require 5-7 hours per week. Are you able to make this time commitment?
- What’s your connection to Russell City?
- From your perspective, what happened to Russell City, why do you think it happened, and how did it affect your family?
- What meaningful value or expertise can you bring to the committee? Tell us about your experience working in a team or community-based process.
- What is your purpose for being here? As a member of the committee, what do you want to achieve? At the end of the day, what would you want to see happen and what are you willing to do to get us there?
Nominees will be given until Monday, Oct. 17 to accept the nomination and complete the survey. You will be provided with all of their responses prior to the next community Zoom meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. where each nominee will be given two minutes to address the community. A link for voting will be sent to you via email on Friday, Oct. 21.
NOTE: Please make sure that each participating member of your household is signed up through the project site using their own email address.
